<div>Has anyone done the STR line in AA and can comment on how empty fists compares to DW? I am having a hard time seeing that giving up almost 40 STR from DW and the procs is overcome by empty fists. Especially since empty fists are treated as one-handed.</div><div> </div>

Rank 8 of barehanded attacks aka Relentless Punches gives you a 20% permanent DPS mod and double attack 96 of all attacks.Monks can self buff to 100% haste which is the accepted cap currently.  Although recently I've been informed that a monk observed a .6 delay with a 1.2 delay weaponThe weapon that your barehands is equivalent to is a vendor purchased 2hb weapon with a 2.5 (?) delay from your current tier.100% Haste puts you at 1.6 delay (although for procs it counts you swinging at 2.5)You swing twice every 1.6 delay. With 100% DPS mod and 100% Haste you hit for around 450-650 damage non critical every 1.6 delay TWICE.  Thats a potential 1300 damage in auto attack every 1.6 delay.Pretty much in Tier 7 unless you have two DW weapons with over a 50 DR or a 2hb with over 108? you will likely do more DPS going barehanded.  Granted this is at the sacrifice of stats that your weapons give but in a DPS role you shouldn't have to worry as much about losing some stats as compared to how to manage your aggro so you aren't tanking for half the encounter or even worse pulling aggro on a raid.  I have found I keep aggro a HECK of a lot better barehanded but I think its a personal preference on that.<div></div>

<div>from what ive seen 448 in strength and  448 in int lines could very well outdps any fabled 2h or duel combo with 448 in any other 2 lines.  I would love to see some parses to prove or disprove my casual observations.</div>

I have the str line to 4/4/8 (and a few other points but nothing much). I currently do a lot of damage. The delay with 100% haste seems to be around 1.15-1.2.The real advantage is that both the attack and double attack can proc applied spells. Get a dirge, inquisitor and beserker in your group and their dps buffs can get you to almost 100% dps. Even without them the damage potential is there and I don't have the crit hits done yet. The crushing debuff you get as part of the strength line really helps too. Its unblockable and 30sec recast/duration so stays up almost permanently.<div></div>
