Defense or Mitigation?

Which is more valuable to a monk? 20 mitigation or 4 defense?<div></div>

<div></div><p>It's a lot more complicated then that... What are your current mitigation and defense values? What kind of content are you playing? The answers are very different depending on where you stand now, if you're solo'ing, duo'ing, grouping heroics or raiding epics, and even then can very based on the level they con to you.</p>

I'm currently in T6 legendary gear, and i'm level 62. I solo, group, MT and raid (not MT). <div></div>My personal opinion would be the +4 defense (without knowing any other of the variables involved.  The +4 defense will probably give you around if not more than 1% avoidance and that little amount of mitigation would be almost worthless by itself.
