<div>Monk vs Mage, mages nuke me, in that short time where they're imune to my stuns but generally I've won 9/10 Monk vs Mage encounters. Again, alot of hp helps when fighting a mage.</div><div>Monk vs Scouts, scouts need a significant level advantage over me to win, i.e they need to be orange or red in con. The thing I like most though, is that I run around with out /anon on alot of the time, so scouts think I'm an easy target untill they notice that they're not actually hitting me.</div><div>Monk vs Fighters, generally I tend to win the majority but classes that do spell damage, SK's in particular tend to be a dodgy fight I believe this is probably because they have alot of "spell" like attacks. Harm touch is NOT my friend either <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div>Monk vs Priest, can be tough because of the immunity to stun rule that is applied, generally not a good idea to use to much power on a priest unless you can either out dps his heals or run him out of power. Even easier is to just group with a mage heh.</div><div> </div><div>I'm under the impression that avoidance doesn't help vs caster types and is only used against melee attacks, which means I've got to carry around alot of different resistance potions.</div><div> </div><div>Got my new defence stance at 30, and adept3'd it straight away.. so now i've gone to being able to self buff to 58.8% avoidance to 67.9% avoidance, with an agility potion. My gear isn't fantastic but I'd imagine there are few around my level with great gear. Using the AQ armour atm, with t3 jewelry (as I cannae find a t4 jeweler for the life of me heh)</div><div> </div><div>As a level 30, I don't have all of my lines so far, missing everburning flame for one which would help alot more for those out of power situations.</div><div> </div><div>Did my armour quests early on, as the lack of crafters means its hard to get armour. Though I'm a 33Alchemist (for adept3's and potions sake mainly)</div><div> </div><div>Would just like some suggestions from the Monk forum in which way I should steer my Monk for pvp? Was reading some of the AA threads and the str line looks good for pure dps to take someone down fast but that'll be a long time coming as AA points are hard to achieve at level 30 lol. So what would be best for the moment, or should I stick with going straight for dps.</div><div> </div><div>Perhaps filling out the wisdom line for resistances across the board would be better than going straight out for avoidance as chance will have it, i'll encounter a caster as much as a melee.</div><div> </div><div>As a side question, I've not properly tried it but how many potions can I stack together? I was able to have agility, one resist and a hp buff, but I cast a power pool buff and it seemed to overwrite another potion or hid it I'm unsure so I decided not to waste potions while running around a free target and then forgot to give it a test in town.</div><div> </div><div>This post is probably very broken up, but I've been awake for about 36hours, no doubt I'll rewrite this post when I wake up after a nice sleep <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>
