Now that a lot of you monks are almost 70, what weapons have been doing the best damage for you? I'm talking non-fabled now.  How do the crafted weps compare to the dropped ones?   DW still better than 2H?  Which DWs do you prefer?  Basicly I'm looking to see what most of you are using right now. Im only concerned about DPS, I don't tank much if any, as my guild is full of Guardians and Berzerkers which tank better than me, since I dont have any Fabled armor.<div></div>

<div>If you like 2handing I'd try staff of arresting, Aged Tree Branch, And Gizzlefangers (what ever) staff</div><div> </div><div>High damage lots of stats all but the arresting staff is quested</div><div> </div>

<div></div>The arresting staff is a COMMON (omg painfully so if you're camping the Mitts of the Restrainer!!) drop in Sanctum of Scaleborn.  The named is in the jail area not too far in the zone.  I camped him with groups for 2 days before I got my Mitts.  And in that time we must have seen 10 of the staves drop.  Just fyi.

<div></div><div></div><p>Well currently I'm dual wielding the Hammer of Formation and a Wing Tipped Chakram. The Ravasectian Shredder will be a nice weapon when the changes to our stances go live, IF you get your slashing skill trained up.</p><p>Grizzlefazzle's Staff has much better stats then the staff of arresting and aged branch, but IMO the combat animations on all 3 suck. Good Lord considering the requirements on the wisdom line AA's I hope there are some decent 2 hand staves with Bo Staff animations out there somewhere. Arresting staff animates like a quarterstaff when it's your only weapon equipped... the other two have the boring caster staff animations.</p><p>I've been toying with the idea of using two Bonecleaves when tanking and seeing how much that extra 10 deflection helps out. (= I wish we knew more about hard/soft caps for the different deflection/parry/defense elements that make up avoidance.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Message Edited by Rrawl on <span class="date_text">03-06-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:14 AM</span></p>

<div>If I remember correctly, at 62 the +5 deflection gave me about 1% avoidance.  That's nothing to sneeze at if you are tanking <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>

At 65, I am pretty sure the +10deflection (from Bonecleave and Marrowind (sp?)) gave me about 1.5% more avoidance. Combined with Def stance and TV, and our avoidance nearly goes through the roof (I checked solo, and I think I was at 72.2%)

<div></div><div>The 2h bo staff that drops from in the Den is probably one of the best non-fabled t7 weapons I've seen so far.  89.2 dr with a 2.0 delay.  Oh, and it has the good bo staff animations <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>
