<div></div>Hello to all.I have created a High Elf Monk due to the look of the character. One thing I did not think about is racial traits! I know that the Barbarian has some great fighter traits whereas (I cannot find the racial traits lists for all races so I do not know for sure) the High Elf is probably geared more toward being a caster. I am only lvl 7 right now so it is still not too late to redo. Please give me an insight as to the choice that I have made. Is there a list of all racial traits anywhere? Will I be a High Elf [Removed for Content]?Help.I thank you in advance.(I did read the stickies but 1. They may be out of date 2. What are the real-world opinions on this subject?)<div></div><p>Message Edited by GoatSlave on <span class="date_text">02-26-2006</span><span class="time_text">02:05 AM</span></p>

<div>The overall opinion is race choice will NEVER make or break your class no matter what class you choose.  I've seen ogre mages, troll bards, barbarian clerics, gnome fighters... the works...  All of them do the job well on a raid or in a group.  Go with what race you like to look at.  As you'll be looking at your character ALOT.  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div><div>Have fun with your high elf monk!  <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div>

49 High Elf Monk here. As was previously said racial choice won't break your class. Having played with a number of other monks of varying races I am in no way weaker.Moral of the story: Play what you like<div></div>

I think the only race you might wanna worry about is erudite :p Not much brawlerly blood in those giant caster brains of theirs. Int bonuses and such probably won't come in too handy.<div></div>
