Questions on PVP and the Monk

<div>I am going to be placing a toon on the PVP server for fun.  I am not a new player and have played Paladin and Gaurdian(Main) out of the fighter line, Ranger, Wizard and Templar(I like to know what my grp mates can or can not do -makes me a better Tank) but I am thinking of trying out a Monk. </div><div>So I come to you guys/gals for your opinions - is this a good PVP toon?  I am torn between the Swashie or Monk, I prefer the fighter line but that is my play style I enjoy but I do not like getting my butt handed to me if I can help it. </div><div>Any help would be appreciated -thanks.</div>

I think the whole STA line of AA's caters strictly to PvP. This gives the Brawlers an ability to deal with range attack classes.Also be perpared to compete with alot of other Monks. They seem to be the flavor of the month class. So expect Monk Adept I and Master I to sell fast and sell high. But also expect the market to be flooded with armor and weapons for Monks and vendors competing with each other on prices.</span></div>

wouldnt worry about it jun, half of the people are making characters "for fun" just like the OP and will not be staying on the server or will fall far behind the leveling curve.<div></div>
