View Full Version : 40+
<div>In the short month that I have been playing I have reached level 42. I have come a long way towards washing the n00b off me but there is still plenty I am sure I am missing. I just finished the FBSS HQ and have my T5 armor and weapons. My question to you is what am I missing? I am currently running through Obliesk of Lost Souls since CT groups think I am too little yet but will soon be there. I have yet to do any raiding and not sure if there are "must have" quests in zones that I am not exploring. I don't plan on staying in the level 40 range for long so I am trying to prepare for what's ahead. </div><div> </div><div>Looking for some guidance from 40-55. Thanks a bunch!</div><div> </div><div>What quests are a must have 40+?</div><div> </div><div>What raids should I look at attending?</div><div> </div><div>What gear is a must have?</div><div> </div><div>What zones are good for downtime when there is not a group?</div>

take your time and explore the t5 zones (everfrost, lavastorm, and the feerot) there is a lot of things to do and see in these zones. Lots of quests, lots of lore.I dunno if there are any must have quests really... there was a thread just a little while ago about that question. i suggest you look for that.as for raids, spirits of the lost is a good one (gi of madness drops in there). that's the raid zone off cazic thule.tremblar the behemoth is off of zek and is pretty good.if you have splitpaw there are some good raids in there, i cant recall the names atm thoughthere are basically a whole bunch of t5 raid zones spread over the t5 zones that are worthwhile if you have a raiding guild.if you have the rare t5 crafted gear you're pretty much good to go as far as gear goes. there are a few items maybe that you could get like the various t5 fabled gis, or your prismatic batoneach of the zones listed has some good soloing grounds.good luck and have fun<div></div>

Been in SotL numerous times now and I have never seen it. It's certainly not monk stuff dropping there. But if you want to do this raid for fun, yes, then I can definitely recommend it.Personally I am hoping for the Gi of the Dark Disciple, (Akhet Aken raid zone) now. Altough it's just a little nagging voice in the back of my head saying it COULD drop this time. Still trying to silence that voice, without much luck.</span></div>

<div></div><p>The following applies for duoing with a healer, or trioing with healer and DPS(will not work well for soloing :smileywink: )</p><p>40-45 CT works goods</p><p>45-50'ish, PF (The statue quest series is good there), also SS raptors around the LT entrance</p><p>50+ PoF start off with the ^^^ sabertooths, then theres cyclops at 55+</p>

Just cause you've ha bad luck and that the item is rare, doesn't mean it's not a fun raid with lots of goodies...Out of the few runs I've done with it I've gotten the gi of madness and 3 masters including heal master1, which appears it won't get an upgrade in the expansion. Masters drop like candy in there, so your chances of getting SOMEthing are pretty good imo.<div></div>

I can say CT -PF -SS -CoR was awesome exp. Can easily solo in SS as well. By 52, I could solo the Spectres for the Carpet quest. Granted, that was a wizard, not a monk; but the locations are perfect.
