<div>Ok, so I am a 49 monk and I need a few suggestions in the gear department for 50. So far I have a Ruj. Gi, I have 1 imbued ironwood quarterstaff and a piece of Ironwood to make a second, 1 scaled pelt, a serrated claw medallion (got lucky to loot that one), and an earring (forget the name). But my predicament is I have about 5 plat to finish equipping myself. If I can't afford a whole set of Legendary items, what should I do? Right now I do have a set of T5 legendary on, but the jump to T6 is very steep... Should I just try Treasured items or should I spend the next week or so trying to make more pp? I'm not a good gatherer, I don't raid much, and I'm not a crafter. I'm just an average player who wants a good monk...</div>

<div></div>Buy a Gi of the Ashen Disciple and sell autographed posters of you in it? That might raise some cash.

<div>Harvesting probably is the best way to go.  One or two rares can set you up very well, and certain raw foodstuffs and roots seem to sell for quite a bit on broker.</div><div> </div><div>But in addition to harvesting- or if you just don't want to do that option and have the Splitpaw expansion, do the solo champion arena each day (sometimes twice a day if it sold really quick) and sell the prize on the broker.  I did this daily for quite awhile (takes about 15 minutes to complete) and found that I would get about 4-5 gold from the chest and the big prize which generally sold on broker for about 10 gold (or to vendor for 4 if you are impatient).  Generally you should be able to bring in about 12-15 gold a day depending on your market.  Plus you get a nifty flaming boar's head to decorate your room and build fireplaces with :smileyhappy:</div><div> </div><div>Also, hunt in Sinking Sands.  The drops there are pretty good, and many of the items that drop sell for a pretty good amount.  Plus you might get lucky and get a rare chest with a master to sell.  Combine your hunting with quests as many of the quest rewards are very nice.  Even if you can't use them you can sell them. </div><div> </div><div>Good luck!</div><div>Quijana</div><div> </div><div>Lost Coast Privateers, Nektulos</div>

<div></div><div>I recommend Sinking Sands - the Skeletal Cobras drop loot very regularly, as do the nearby scorpions.  There's also an easily popped named that drops an item you can sell for 4-5g.</div><div> </div><div>Some of my most profitable days are when I grind T6 writs - they take you to area where you have to kill lvl 50-52 critters while gathering items around them - get some xp while boosting that status, good combination :smileyhappy:</div><div> </div>

I second the harvesting, if you don't mind doing that for a few days you should make enough from rares/good selling raws to set yourself up in legendary armor.Otherwise hunt/quest in SS for cash and do a little harvesting for needed rares inbetween (but don't go out of your way for it), I've been doing this in EF for myself now and scored 2 or 3 rares this way... nice bonus.<div></div>

I'm sorry, but why don't you settle for the regular T6 leather armor then?<div></div>

<div></div>Thank you for all the good spots, I probably will spend a while to earn a little pp... I guess I was in a little bit of a shock when up until now I could afford what I wanted without harvesting and by luck! Guess that comes around to bite you in the butt! We have an alliance with a great guild with lots of 60 crafters so that will help a lot too. Thanks again and now I'm gonna get my butt movin!!!

<div>If you have 1 ironwood baton and the ironwood for the second, and one scaled pelt you should easily be able to equip yourself in almost all scaled stuff and two imbued ironwood batons.  I spent about 7 plat total and you already have 1/3 the stuff.</div><div> </div><div>On my server that stuff is even cheaper now.  Whats the going price of scaled on your server?</div>
