MAge tower, blue teleporter. once up there, look left, you will see a ledge about 2/3 of the way down. jump to that, then the rest of the way. Once you hit high 100's, you can jump the whole way from blue and live most of the time

Same Elthor, I tried this at level 20 and almost died, luckily I landed half way down on some support beam or something.

I use the griffon towers. You can jump off the edge, land right at the bottom of the ramp, then just run back up to repeat over and over. Good way to do it when your waiting for folks.

various spots in Sinking Sands is good too (depending on your character level).

Mage tower in SQ is by far the best though... and no down time between up/down ...

While waiting for one of the Monks for FBSS, I found a good spot in EL. Up by the Mines in the north there is a ledge. I found a spot that had no aggro close enough to worry about. I found a spot to jump and back up the hill...one jump skill ups...

Also I dueled a Pally there, 1st he knocked me back off the cliff...of course I landed safely, so I returned him the favor...I win...

I recently done this, and I tried many places. The mage tower is the best...period. First there are three different levels to jump off. Next, you can teleport right back up and do it again. If you get in a good pace, you can jump like crazy. Also, if the lowest jump is too high, try jumping and huggin the wall all the way down. There is actually a ledge before you get to the bottom, so this reduces the length of the fall.

Now this is assuming you have gotten all you can off the griff towers, the steep hill near the oracle tower...other steep hills. Probably for training about 160 or higher.

I think you can start using the mage tower around 100, maybe a little less... at around 120 it's very very safe.

Port to the blue catwalk, jump into the big blue and black banners, the banners line right up with the ledges, so just keep pressed against the wall and centered on the banner. When you can make that jump reliably, start dropping all the way down from the blue catwalk, sometimes you'll get knocked into orange or yellow, but you just keep on going but start hitting the banners and ledge again until you're healed. If you line things up right, you can back into the blue porter, step off the ledge, land next to it, and back right into it again. Two steps forward, two steps back, train train train.

I'm up around 270 now though... and the red catwalk rarely trains and the yellow catwalk is much higher and can still get me killed quit often. I usually train a point when I die falling off the yellow though. (=

<strike>The tower in West Karanas before the zone line is pretty good too</strike>The stairway in Nek forest is good for some jumping although it is quite a run back to the top. NOt good for training more fun when you have people autofollowing you...<strike></strike>

Message Edited by ganjookie on 01-21-200603:17 PM

The Orc mine in Zek is good too - not all the way though ! - you can land on ledges at differant Lvls then take the lift back up.It's alway's funny though when you see someone accidently training their " safe fall " by not paying to much attention and juming into the lift.Problem is when there is no lift there. Particularly funny if you are grouped with someone and chatting to them as you wait at the bottom you get a " OH SH*T " then see them SPLAT on ground a real p*sser !

I love jumping off that tall column of rock in Zek (the one with the HQ named that spawns at the top), but my safe fall isn't high enough to work every time, luckily last time it didn't I landed on the path so I didn't quite die!

My Berzerker friend then tried it thinking with his HPs he could survive - he went splat, haven't laughed so hard in ages :p

Zooce

Found a great new spot. There is a cliff right next to the SW side of the Mcquibble farm in Antonica (south of Windstalker Village) that you can quickly run up and jump off of over and over again with virtually no down time. This is a great spot for those who aren't high enough in safe fall to use the blue porter in the mage tower yet. I went from 95 to 122 in about 10-15 mins (I have a 32% horse, so my run time may be a little faster than some, but get a sow and you're good to go).
