<DIV>Hey sorry for the interruption, I'm not a monk, but I figured this was the best place to ask before I submitted a petition.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I just finished the Ashen Disciples line of quests in PoF.  On the final step with Master Ko, I was awarded just "the Ebon Dragon" title - but nothing else.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Did I miss getting the final quest reward because of a bug, or is this some role play thing where since monks are not caught up in material possesions, they don't need loot either.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I spent about two weeks killing harpies and doing all the quests and faction work to get this done, it was not a trivial quest.  I like doing the long hard quests in game, and they usually have nice rewards.  For example, I did the quest that started in sinking sands, then required you do do sub quests for the Swiftrider mercenaries in PoF, then the Ortallians, and finally the Char'Gin, and the reward for that was a nice FT necklace.  I completed the Peacock series of quests and got the very nice Godking hammer, an upgrade from my prismatic.  Next I was going to do the Hero of Maj'Dul quest to get the Ring of Fate.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So I can't imagine the only reward for the Ashen quest series is a title.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for info.</DIV>

Heh. The decent loot available for brawlers is fairly limited.</span><div></div>

Even if it takes a while its still something you can do without anyone else's help if you have enough free time. The Amulet of Ro, </span><span>the Ring of Fate </span><span>and the Peacock series all require the help of other players to complete. While I too would have liked some material rewards in addition to the title, I don't think this quest series compares with those others in terms of difficulty and thus it shouldn't reward the player as nicely. I was a little disappointed that we weren't given any material items upon completion as well but really, unless one of them had a unique graphic, I would have just sold it since it would have been just treasured. Edit: Upon further reflection, I'm actually -glad- the entire quest series gives you almost no material rewards, as this encourages only players that really want the title to do the quest series. If the material reward for the series was really nice then word would get around and everyone would do the series and earn a title... and to me that would cheapen the significance of the titles. </span><div></div><p>Message Edited by Cwiyk on <span class=date_text>12-26-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:31 AM</span>
