Part 2 of the monk quest is broken

I bugged this in game. But both my wife and I are running into this with our level 18 brawlers. When we succesfully get the water back to Makato Shoda it doesnt update. He says his usual line about "The path to inner piece..."But I know its not limited to my account or running of the game since my wife is doing this same quest on her PC at the same exact time as me. Anyone else having issues? I cant advance my character until this works. Well this alt at least <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

Do you get the "spilt" message at all? It can be tricky to get the water there. The best way is to take the down below straight to eldar grove, and then jump from the big rock to the left of the steps directly onto the wooden walkway of the dojo.<div></div>

<div></div>No i didnt have the split message until after the first time I went to him. I purposely went outside and hit the point i know it drops the water. I wanted to make sure that I actualy had it. I tried it a second time and the same result while i still had the water. I was watching the text on both characters to see if said that I dropped it. There should be a little trick now to avoid the point where the water can be spilled, if you have completed the quest for the recall point. Don't know if it works, but maybe you just try it.

Oh dont think i wasnt using Ogaming.com as a guide. Thats how i knew to use the rock to jump and what points dropped the water. As well as using the down below, which i was already was going to do. I followed that guide to the letter.<div></div>

Of course that was shortly after they put in the spell to reset your bind point, so it's been a while.<BR>

Ever since they put 'The Tie that Binds' quest into the game this quest has become deliriously simple. Just bind yourself in Elddar near the monestary, and head over to the fountain, get the water, then Call of Qeynos back to Elddar Grove and talk to the Makoto. If this doesn't work, then you know there's nothing you can do but wait for the hotfix.

Looks like the update came to Splitpaw today.  Build 2598L  (Dec 21 2005 13:28:19) did the trick. I had problems with this quest all last night must have tried doing this quest 8-9 times. Now throughly [Removed for Content] off with EQ2. I just returned after 10 months away from the game to find I cant progress past level 19. <div></div>
