<DIV>Now before someone tags me for not realizing this isnt EQ1 I got, just tying to utilize my skills to the best possible way.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>recently I've been playing with the whole EQ1 trick of getting aggro, FDing to give back aggro and go back to DPSing(whether pulling or doing 2nd tanking). Problem there in is that typically when I stand back up I automatically re-aggro the mob. Is this due to me having built up to much aggro and the other tank in group hasnt or does re-entering combat after FD actually grab aggro/hate. Anyone been playing around with this? Agreed until recently I havnt even found a use for the tactic, but just been playing around with the abilities. Thoughts, ideas, tips?</DIV>

If you are using it to pull or lose aggro while dpsing, the tank still needs to gain enough hate to surpass the hate you have with the mob at the time of your feign.  That might mean you have to stay down for a few seconds while they taunt etc to get enough aggro to have more than you already do.  Feigning does not reset your aggro, it has the mob act like you do not exist.  When you stand back up, you do so with your previous aggro total intact.  So, if it is still higher than the MT's, the mob will retarget you.  For pulling, it is probably a matter of a few seconds while the MT gets a taunt off, but in a raid/dps situation, you may have to stay down for a bit for the MT to catch up and pass you.
