Was the Monk feign stealth nerfed last patch?

There are several threads discussing the nature of feign death and why it can be streaky. You are at the mercy of the almighty Random Number Generator. There is nothing you can do about it. There is no nerf that can be done to it. It's random based on the percentage success given. It's gonna fail sometimes, get over it. Now if it failed you 20, 30, or more times in a row.. then i'd be suspiscious, but a streak of bad luck isn't a nerf. <div></div>

I'm well aware that FD is streaky.  But this has been from rarely fails to almost alyways fails.  Including not being able to FD when not in combat?  that's just goofy.  I recieved most of your message well as I know there are some who feel everything is the non random generator.  But telling me to get over it tells me what kind of person you really are.  I'm not here flaming anyone, I'm trying to gather information.  Why don't you add something to the discussion like, 'I have been suceeding at my normal rate.'  That is if you bother to pay attention to it instead of just assuming that everything is the non random generator.

I didn't mean to sound rude. I was just saying there is nothing to be done about the streaky nature of a random number generator and that's just the way it is. If it makes you feel better I've had times when I fail several times in a row, and it's lead to my death many times. And sometimes it works every time for a few days. But usually it seems pretty balanced, and well.. random. <div></div>

I''ve wondered the same thing at times about FD.  One day in particular it was very bad and I even sent a feedvack asking what was going on.  The next day FD works 30 times in a row while charging through peacock quests in Living Tombs.  Give it a few days or a week before worrying about it too much.  And try to remember all those times it saved your tail when the whole group wiped and your healer forgot to give you a feather =).Clearchus 60 Monk<div></div>

Streaky or not, I noticed the same thing. A LOT of failures. Many more that I'm used to at adept III Stilled Life. Even had more failures on FotP. At first I did write it off to bad luck, but as it kept happening more and more I got suspicious. <div></div>

<P>I've noticed the same thing.  If a few more agree then a pattern might be forming.</P> <P> </P> <P>One thing I noticed is that when my group-FD failes, its always me that it fails on.  The rest of the group always drops successfully.  I have learned to be quick because of this and will stand and drop my still-life in just a second or so.  This usually clears everything and we move on our merry way.</P>

I haven't had issues with solo or group feign.  My solo feign is 92% and seems to be even better thna that.   Once again, just streaky, as I am sure I ignore the few and far between failures I have.,

Its sorta interesting because I believe in the chaotic nature of randoms...  however, I seem to have had this conversation with several FD toons in the recent week in groups that were having worst-than-usual bad luck streaks with FD.  I personally saw a nasty streak one day last week where I couldn't feign a mob for the life of me (literally), but in recent days I havn't had any problems.  Oh the joys of random =)  I'm certainly not complaining, just my observations as of recent. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ironfist</DIV> <DIV>Lvl 53 Monk</DIV> <DIV>Permafrost</DIV>
