<DIV>I mean comon! Why the heck do i want to see rainbows arching over my head each time i FD and recover? its way annoying and takes away from the idea of FD.  Would an enemy really think you are dad if you have rainbows arching over your body as you FD? Lol</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>IS there a way to turn these effects off for just the FD?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Isn't it just when you recover?

FD going down its gets a slightly different arch around the body.  Its really big and annoying, the skin lights up too.. on recover same thing.  the skin effect alone would be neat by itself but not with the huge arch

<DIV>Never noticed an issue with it, in fact the healers that have mentioned it actually like it more because they know it was a FD rather then them lagging and not seeing your health bar drop like a stone for some reason.</DIV>

I have noticed something similar and I think its a bug. I have the barabrian trait strength of the north. Every time a FD and when I get back up it reapplies the trait and does the spell effect for it (I glow red for a second). Its possible you have some trait and/or spell effect on you at the time that is doing this. <div></div>

Well, I'm not a barbie I'm a Half Elf and I get the cheesy rainbow effect everytime I stand back up from a FD. <div></div>

Happens to me too as a human.  When I FD and get back up I glow all around my char's body.  When I stand I glow and then do a little pose. <div></div>

It's one of those char/race traits that you picked.  Just like everytime you level, it wlil automatically reapply the buff for you and your character will do the appropriate animation.  <div></div>

<P>my guy is a half elf.. and it didnt do this till lu16.  if its a trait its not one that i picked cause i havent been doing cheesy half elf traits either.  to be honest, the rainbow is reeally taking away from my enjoyment of my monk cause i cant even get into roll playing him when i keep seeing raypower over my body.</P> <P> </P> <P>the idea of a buff continuosly recasting itself is rather poor in my opinion, shouldnt have to keep seeing the same dang thing over and over when FD is a skill that is used constantly</P>

Can you take a screenshot or something so we can see what you're complaining about? If we can track down what is beign cast maybe it can be bugged and fixed. <div></div>

Never seen it...Can it really be THAT bad?Bad enough to effect roleplay?..If you do so..

<DIV>I'm a Kerran monk and I group with a Half-elf monk a lot and he's got the rainbow going on.  The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced it's a racial trait.  I only remember seeing the rings recently, so it must've been something my buddy picked mid-T6.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If I recall correctly, the animation is similar to the Will of the Sky animation.   *shrug*  </DIV><p>Message Edited by KnowHao on <span class=date_text>12-01-2005</span> <span class=time_text>08:17 PM</span>

I thought feign broke invis anyway because it's casting a ca. <div></div>

Yes it happens to us Barbarians, but the mob wont aggro because of the light show.  As long as you are out of range you are fine.  It only lasts for a second so it never really has bothered me.

/bug it and /feedback it If it really bugs you, maybe try and respec,b ut without knowing what it is, it might be hard to avoid in your choices. As a human monk, the only thing I see when I FD and get up is a sort of yellowish/greenish sheen over my body, and when I get up I sort of flex along with the flashing. It's not a raindow though. I never even really noticed it until this was brought up. <div></div>

I'm a high elf monk, and I've never seen any effect like that. I vote that it's racial, like that funky thing that was going on with woodelvs not too long ago, when they were holding their harvesting items backwards.
