guardians have far more and better group buffs than we have.they have +offensive skills (really helpful if using defensive stance), hp buff, temporary mitigation buff. we got group haste (useless).

Actually, I play a Bruiser.<BR><BR>Also have a Guardian, know how to play the class.<BR>Guardians tank just as well as Brawlers.<BR>Guardians hold aggro just as well as brawlers.<BR>Guardians DPS is way lower than brawlers.<BR><BR>said simple enough.

<P>Most Guards complain about Gaige because he likes to go on the Guard boards and poke at their open wounds, or so they feel he is doing.  Mostly he just goes over there to argue with Guards who state they want to tank as before (PRE-LU13) and he likes things the way they are now and big arguments spring forth with much name calling.  (Huge surprise, that happening on these boards, eh?)</P> <P>My big complaint as a Guardian (and the reason i started a monk and am enjoying him so much) is that they made tanking more or less equal (depends on the situation and what you're fighting) but monks can still solo huge amounts better then Guards. (This ends up fitting my play style much better ATM)  We never really could solo very well even before, but we were so much better at tanking, no one much cared.  Now Guards are crying for balance across the board because they balanced tanking, but not DPS.  I think we could use some utility tweaks as well, but having taken a hard look at the monk utility skills, i think it's pretty much a wash.  (I know there is great debate on that, with both sides be biased, but i think it is balanced enough that we're not likely to see much more then a few minor tweaks, on either side)</P>

It all depends on the target. Maybe in XP groups, or common Herioc encounters.. but from what I've seen raiding with that assumption will make it hard on you.</span><div></div>

<P>Its all about play styles.</P> <P>Guardians are meant more for grouping while monks are meant more for both group and solo.</P> <P>If you think Guardians got the 'big ole' nerf bat go read the Inquisitor boards... They cant fight their way out of a wet paper sack now.</P>
