Any opinions on which is better? For the tunic, the rare imbued T5 is clearly better but what about the other pieces? The imbued legs have better mitigation and the proc....but the stats suck (+11 str and +9 int). Whereas the enchanted thicket legs have +10 str and +8 sta. Most of the other pieces are the same way....rare crafted has better mitigation but the stats are far worse than enchanted thicket. Rare T5 crafted: http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/search/items_results.php?na=1&item_name=augmented Enchanted thicket http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/search/items_results.php?na=1&item_name=enchanted%20thicket <div></div>

<DIV>You will get shredded by T5 MoBs if you tank or solo in enchanted thicket, at least after 42 or 43.  Not such a bad plan to keep a couple of the better pieces around to switch to when you are DPS.</DIV>

How do they add to DPS? <div></div>

<DIV>you won't get shredded, I wore enchanted thicket up till 50... had more HP and better stats than most other brawlers in player made armor (luckily T6 rare isn't quite as int/wis oriented)... course I had a few hundred less mitigation but to an avoidance tank I didn't notice much difference. tanked for groups in perma just fine</DIV>

Does one outfit really have advantage over the other? I just got myself a badge of rare T5 pelts to make my armor, but now I read this... ? <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

The entire thicket suit only gives resists to two damage types (magic and one other).  It also has very low physical mitigation.  The lack of wisdom mods is not a good thing as it makes the situation with skewed resists even worse.  I can see using one or two pieces as a stopgap for the early 40's, and maybe keeping the helm and shoulders around for dps, but rare crafted t5 is much better to have.   All player made light has the same bonus profile through the tiers, and it allows you to balance your stats.  While int may not be important for us, the other four stats are, so I'd not recommend eschewing wisdom. <p>Message Edited by Bladewind on <span class=date_text>11-28-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:59 AM</span>

<P>I wore a mix of Enchanted Thicket and T5 rare until I was 53ish.  I then upgraded the T5 only until I was around 59ish when I started getting more cash then I knew what to do with.  So I went ahead and upgraded everything.  The stats on the Thicket to this day are more appropriate than the stuff on several pieces of T6 gear but the Mitigation T6 advantage cannot be questioned.</P> <P> </P> <P>PS I tanked from lvl 1 to 60 for my group(s) with said gear.</P>

beh, I went for the handcrafted T5 outfit. The thicket looks OK, but i don't wanna look like that <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>
