<DIV>I'm not sure of a good 1hb for you in qeynos. For what it's worth there really isn't a situation where you should be using a 1 handed weapon. Since you can't use a shield once you become a brawler you should either be using a 2h or dual wield weapons. The guide you are looking for is most likely stickied at the top of the monk forums... check out the monk FAQ.</DIV>
<P>Lol sorry 1hb and 2hb from eq1.. i mean whats a good duel wield. im using a good 2hb right now but would like to try to save up for a dual wield.. thanks again for the help.</P> <P> </P> <P>Ridean</P> <P>14th brawler</P>

Personally, I'd stick to 2hb for a while. You get a nice 2hb when you become a monk as well that should last you until lvl 25 or so. Check a broker for decent items for your lvl, but again, try not to break the bank seeing as you will out lvl these early items in no time. I'd make sure I had a piece of gear in every slot before i started to upgrade anything else. <div></div>

<DIV>>i mean whats a good duel wield.</DIV> <DIV>I've had better luck with a good two hand weapon. I used a broker staff from 16 to 20, then Makoto's staff until about 23. Now I use a smackhappy club (at 27). <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> But seriously, it's easier to chain your CAs and HOs with a slower, high damage weapon. Dual wields are harder to get the most out of your attacks.</DIV>
<DIV>Thanks guys ive been using a decent 2hb this whole time but wanted to make sure i wasnt making a mistake!! </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>RIdean</DIV> <DIV>5th brawler</DIV>

Since I have my own woodworker. My own monk has used 2 hander's for tiers 3, 4 and now into 5. I did try the DW set up, but since I solo alot, I found the 2 hander a better option. As a note. I do use the rare 2 hander for each tier listed. <div></div>

Paired flails because it is the closest we get to nunchaku, and you don't see them past lvl 19 <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Seriously, there is very little difference between DW or 2H at this level. I think the best advicewas from above - make sure you have all of your slots filled with lvl 10+ gear before you worry about upgrading anything. Chances are, you'll be doing the monk quest and be lvl 20 sooner than you'll need to worry about upgrades for tier 2.

Really , i have a pair of imbued player made baton's (cesti's) . Do you really think i am loosing out by using them instead of a 2hb ?? I seem to do some awesome damage and easily solo green ^^^ or groups of green ^^'s . Would using a 2HB increase my damage output ??

<DIV>>Would using a 2HB increase my damage output ?? </DIV> <DIV>I can only describe my own experiences, but I find that it's easier to constantly do damage with a slower weapon because you're not always waiting for a CA to charge. You wait for a normal strike to land and charge a CA in the downtime. I imagine that if you don't spam the special stuff like I do, dual wield would have a better effect, but I'm by no means an expert. I've tried it both ways, with the best equipment I could manage, and two handed weapons work better for me.</DIV>

With CAs only taking 0.5 secs to cast, you won't be missing any auto-attack swings anymore. The lowest delay you can ever get is 0.8 secs with 100% haste. Your swings should be outside of your ca casts so it really isn't an issue anymore. It's really going to come down to style. Which animations you prefer. At such a low lvl where cash is tight, you can usually get more bang for your buck from a 2hb. Honestly, nothing really matters until 30 anyway. This early in the game worry less about mechanics and more about having fun. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> Experiment with different stuff and learn. <div></div>
