Ok, I'm getting closer to 50 and in my guild we have a 60th Woodworker and a 57th Weaponsmith. Which means that getting a nice bo or duel wield weapons is easier for me then some others. My question being, I know this shouldn't matter, but I do like HP on my weapons, and what I'm wielding now (you can click on my sig or just take my word that it's a Thyr's Spike) has some great HP. So I guess my question is, what's the best player made bo/duel wield weapons that I can use when I reach 50?

Before the recent changes to dual wield the consensus was on an imbued ironwood bo staff. Which, IMO still has the sexiest combat animations in the game. (=

There are a few posts that folks have put up regarding the new dual wield changes, but I think the jury's still out on which situations which setup is best in... You've stated elsewhere you tank a lot, anf everyone agrees there's an advantage to less ripostes from the Bo. So far I think it's still best for solo/single group tanking, but I'm still experimenting myself.

For DPS a pair of dual wields are definately appearing better, and the extra stats (especially some wisdom and/or STA/HPs) may be better for raid tanking... like I said, I'm still experimenting.

This may sound crazy, but I am concerned with getting as much HP as I can out of my weapons because of the fact that I DO tank more then I would like to. And from my understanding, the crafted weapons are pretty much all the same damage wise but just pick what stat you want more of?

That's basically right. Just remember, with dual wield you attack TWICE for each cycle of your attack speed. Even though a pair of dual wield weapons and a comparable 2 hander come out to the same damage rating, you're going to get more ripostes from a pair of dual wield weapons... so you have to balance which is better... starting off with a few more hp's, and losing more as the fight goes on, or starting with a few less and losing less. The longer a fight the more hp's you're going to lose to the additional ripostes, at some point you actually net out better with a 2 hander... Having said that you COULD look into great maces or flails or the like for which two hander gets you the most hps. In the end I say pick the weapon you like. This is supposed to be fun, and getting into the hard core number crunching enough to get definate answers to these questions is only fun for a very few people.
