Newbie Question...

1hb and 2hb are the most common Brawler exclusive/fit for Brawler weapons. Besides your fists that is.

While you do want to switch to crushing weapons to work on that skill in preparation for becoming a Bruiser (be a Monk instead, we're sexier!), you shouldn't use your bare fists. Bare fists have no stats and have a worse damage rating than almost any crushing weapon you can find. Try looking for a couple dual wield or a  two-handed crushing weapon on the broker that you can afford. At level nine you can still equip shields so you could use a one-handed weapon for now, but as soon as you reach level ten and choose to become a Brawler you lose the ability to equip shields, so my advice would be to not buy a one-handed weapon. Also, if you simply cannot find any good dual wield or two-handed crushing weapons for sale you could at your level spend some time trade-skilling and create your own weapons.
