<P>My Monk is much lower level than you, but I prefer the Quarter Staffs.  Many people recommend slower weapons (e.g., 2H Staffs), especially for tanking, to cut down on repostes.  But I also I prefer dual wield for the stats.  Since the Quarter Staffs tend to be slower than the batons, I figure they are a good compromise.</P>

<DIV>I personally have 2 imbued cestii (slashing damage) and the imbued bo staff (crushing damage). Not that it's a big reason but there are certain mobs outside in the lands that are immune to some damage types (crushing, slashing or piercing). Thus I like having the option to either do crushing or slashing damage on those certain beeings. For the looks and (a tiny bit) more dps I'm using the bo staff. While tanking and looking on the LU#16 (damage rating and proc rate) upgrades to dual wield weapons I will most likely tend to use my cestii more often.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just wanted to bring in the aspect of damage types and immune mobs, but if I had to choose between the batons and quarterstaffs I would take the batons. Ah and if you're wondering, the above is my view as a 55 monk :smileyhappy:</DIV> <DIV>____</DIV> <DIV>Aikia</DIV> <DIV>of Antonia Bayle</DIV><p>Message Edited by Balabear on <span class=date_text>11-07-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:00 AM</span>
