Where did you solo from 50-60?

Looking for soloing spots thats good for a monk..  preferably spots that offer quick kills and less downtime resting.  I'm level 52 atm and doing harclave when available but i think my exp might be less since im over 50 now. <div></div>

Harclaves does seem to have exceedingly diminishing returns after 50. Trying to grind out 50 to 51 in there i got about 10% from a single run. And that was with a bit of vit. Far cry from the days of my mid 30's where a single run with a bit of vit could get me close to 30 or 40% of a lvl. I guess they really want you to explore the dof content post 50. you can get better xp, better loot, and more fun from dof anyway. I've soloed in the clefts of rujark and pillar of flame when sinking sands started to get boring. basically anywhere you want in dof you'll be able to find solo mobs. <div></div>

Tears grifter quests are decent solo xp but very short and downtime between getting them sucks. !st floor in clefts easy to solo and nameds drop stuff worth 5-8g a pop and repops fast. Silent City solo's fast xp and easy kills will slow down once you hit 55. post 55 go to PoF head up to tnarev and start getting ashen order quests. you are sent to kill solo mobs almost always except for 1 quest if i remember correctly. 55-60 you'll average somewhere arounf 4-8% per quest (that includes killing the mobs and doing the turn in). I made a level a day just doing those quests from 55-60.

Questing/killing in Sinking Sands and Maj'Dul at level 51 is very decent exp too, and a lot of fun. The DoF quests are really cool and reward decent exp and items. I also recommend doing the faction quests, they are good exp.

The Tears Instance we're talking about is one of the quest given by Tears grifters in Maj Dul. They given a random quest every 30 minutes. Even if you delete the quest to get another you must wait the 30 minutes. The quests are fun, usually along the lines of Kidnap someone, 'Convince'(Beat up) someone, etc. The instances are in an apartment in  the Tears area(Bottom of tunnel betweetn Truth and Blades). Some of the quest have only a couple mobs to kill in them, some a lot. the quest 'Hedging our bets' has 18. So you do the quest till you get that particular quest. The quest is to kidnap someone. So you zone in kill everything, Do NOT do the right-click-Kidnap part, zone out, repeat. at 56 I make .8% xp and 4-6 gp per shot. <div></div>

<P>You don't complete it. Once you get done with killing all the mobs in the instance you zone out without kidnapping the npc. Turn right back around and zone in again and you have all new mobs standing there for your killing pleasure.</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>Shimmering Citadel.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The djinn in there were very nice exp and are also considered group mobs for bonus exp. this zone is built for monk using FD and invis to bypass the wisps. Also there are 6-7 ? that you can farm while making laps around the palace, including the mystic moppet arena pet collection. I managed to make over 60pp harvesting ? while working on exp in there. The spawn rate on the djinn is around 10mins and with harvesting it took approx 15 mins to make 1 lap of the palace. So every 15 mins you would get around 10 djinn group and 6 ?, by the time I hit 59 I could clear the palace in under 10 mins and have to wait for spawns.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Not only can you collect alot of ?, but the djinn drop alot of chest and corpse loot. Finally after 8000+djinn kills they dropped a metal chest for me which had the swashbucklers anti-aggro master 1 in it. Also this zone drops the tsunami book that you can scribe.</DIV>

Ok, this is a rather newbish question but I'm just now getting into DoF (being level 47 heh). For future reference for myself, what's the level range on Silent City, and where exactly is it? I see it on my map, but being that the map doesn't do elevation, I would hazard a guess that the entrance is underground or something.
