Another Gi. If you do the counsoler's line of quest in The Caves (newbie zone off qeynos) you get Armor of Bliss as a quest reward> Its a gi with the same graphic as the old AQ monk gi. Here is info: Recently had its name changed from <a href="http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/items/BlissfulAwareness.php" target=_blank>Blissful Awareness or something</a> <div></div>

I hope the Devs will throw in a fabled Brawler leather robe that would be nice in the next expansion IMO. :smileyvery-happy:

I'm curious. Does anyone think that there will be a T7 fabled Gi or are we just relegated to wearing this excarnate looking crap? I love the stats on some of the brawler only gear but not so impressed with the look to be honest. It would be nice to see something along the lines of the robes worn by monks in the new adventure pack.<div></div>

<P>The Gi of Madness is from Swyftz the Mad in Spirits of the Lost (frequently called the froggie raid) the x4 raid in the Ferrott.  He is easy enough to find once you start fighting your way through the temple but it is not a common item unfortunately (I have never seen it out of 10+ times).</P> <P>The Gi of the Disciple comes from Vault Sentinels in Acts of War the x4 raid in Splitpaw.  I believe this is also uncommon though I have never done this raid.</P> <P>The real challenge here is putting a raid together for these old T5 raids.  I hope that helps.</P>

I run to the house and just to the right and in the back are three orcs. I kill them and go in kill the other five but don't get a spawn. The first time I tried this the orcs outside where grey. The second time I mentored down so they were green and still no spawn. There is only a level 14 orc in the basement. After a while I gave up and snuck into Qeyons caves to do the quest line for the Bissfull Gi. This was on the PvP server mind you so that was not easy but it was easier then trying to spawn the lonetusk Devastator.</div>

<DIV>So there's this little instance type thing in Everfrost (can't remember the name at the moment) that deals with some sort of blood cult. On the PvP servers there is a Gi that can be worn any class that can equip leather items. I think it is called the Belligerent Gi. There is nothing worse then coming across a dirge or something who is wearing a nicer Gi then the Monk/Bruiser only items.<div></div>

I have no idea on the droprate -I have no idea if that was the name of the named - my main is a healer & we were burning through incredibly fast, so my focus was on the tank, then when everything was dead, on the gi itself.   LOL   How sad, huh?    My group patiently sat (they are saints!) in Kaladim while I ran off to get my monk from Somborn and run her alll the way over (no horse in Lfay! aaaagh! she has it NOW lol).  <div></div>

There's an Arena in Kaladim with gnoll venders walking around in it - there's an area with a bunch of little hallways and doors back there - the named was in that area.   We killed it in a round room in the back of that area, but our scout was pulling things back there, so I don't know if he was there already or he was pulled back there. If it doesn't actually drop off a named called "rockpounder" then my guess is it can drop anywhere in that level range - I've noticed wu's gear turning up in there, obelisk, catacombs, etc.<div></div>

Don't know if this has been thrown out there yet. I recently purchased this gi off the LdL broker (for a great price, as far as gi's go!) so I'm not sure where or who it drops off of yet. I just know that it looks great and that I squeed all giddy like when I bought it. Upon closer inspection, I notice it said it was crafted. I don't know if all armor sets are like this, or if they have indeed added crafted gi's to the game. I am waiting on some answers. It is part of the Adept Blood Hide set, and shares the graphic with the Gi of the Ashen Disciple, only red (for females, I attuned it without thinking of getting my male bruiser friend to try it on for screens). I hope these pictures work... <img src="http://h1.ripway.com/zeerobots/adeptbloodhidegi.JPG" border="0"> <img src="http://h1.ripway.com/zeerobots/stats.JPG" border="0">

The rageweaver gi is from a 60+ city(writ)raid, at level 50+ city(writ)raids drops armor molds, which in my opinion is better than mastercrafted, and can be worn from level 50 and from level 60 depending on the mold of course. The mold is a loot that needs to be examined, it will give a quest that says you have to talk to an npc, this npc is located near ther writgiver and will exchange the item with a piece of armor. The armor can be used by Bruisers and monks.Edit: each city(writ)raid will drop at least 2 molds

Why is it that the Gi's look so much different on women then the man?  Not to mention the lack of graphics for the RoK Gi's.  My wife has the legendary Gi from one of the instances, but in the dressing room it looks totally different on my toon....less colorful, less design.  Not to mention, it's the same graphic as my RoK brawler fabled Gi!!  I hope the T4 Monk GI looks different, or the Gi of Swirling Lava off of Druushk in VP.

If you want something that looks like the gi you get when you start out then I recommend doing the quest 'A Guard Insignia?' in Darklight Woods. When you finish that quest, a new one (A Missing Recruit?) becomes available that rewarded me with a 'Reinforced Gauze Shirt'. Anyway, it gave me the good ol' white gi appearance. Something to check out anyway<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />" />

There's a gi in The Caves that's identical to the white starter gi. It's called the Armor of Bliss. You do a few quests, and it becomes available as a reward.

I did the quests in South Qeynos for an Initiate's Gi. I dont know if this is considered an AQ or not(still don't know what AQ really is), but anyway it is like a yellow color with a hint of green in it. It looks horrible. I am erudite btw.I would kill to have a decent looking Gi pre lvl 50. If nothing else a "straw hat" would be cool too..can't really find any info on them though...seems all are high end (ie 65+)

You don't have to wait until the higher levels to get a straw hat. You can get a straw hat at lvl 37. It's the Adept Blood Hide Cap. There's actually a full Adept Blood Hide set, with the gi and everything.  The link below is  the Eq2 Traders website that has the full set listed with stats and everything.<a href="http://eq2.eqtraders.com/images/articles/DFCAdept.jpg" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://eq2.eqtraders.com/images/art...es/DFCAdept.jpg</a>

<p>I was very dissapointed by the lack of new gis in both TSO and SF.  TSO gave us a multicolored version of the hookerwear as our fabled gi design, and TSO seems to have given us random armor instead of anything remotely monk-like.  We have some new colors for the old DoF style gi graphic, but thats it.  </p>

<p>I made a topic on it in the Items section but no answer so I'm guessing they totally removed it from game. I'd just like to it either moved to another zone's loot table or just made into a lower lvl item matching the zone's level scheme (with the same appearance of course).</p>
