View Full Version : AQ5 reward: level 3 newbie SKIRT!

Since when do monks wear a SKIRT?!

I just finished AQ5 tonight and, man, do I feel ripped off! I've seen such great images of the chainweave gear on other characters-- why does it look like level 3 IoR gear on my toon? Did all models get an 'fugly' remake for chainweave recently, or were Kerra females singled out for special attention? I shudder to think what the chest will look like... :smileymad:

You know, iirc, mind you it's been awhile But I don't think the monk set comes together until you can wear the chest piece. The legs are just normal leather, which ahs the flap.

Yes the gi has the whole appearance with it, soon as you get it, you will get the whole appearance regardless of the other pieces. I agree would of liked to seen the pants have the image of the pants you actually wear with the gi but to no avail. When I first got mine for the pants it looked more like I wasn't wearing any pants at all just the beginning looking cloth stuff before outfits are put on. Than of course they changed it to that split side with wierd leg look, not sure I have ever seen that look on anything but the pants on any other character, its not even a model I have seen on the isle on any character.

Also this happens for other gi's as you get later in the game, the gi's are one appearance for the whole body kind of like a robe covering up what you would of been wearing underneath.

yeah thats normal... same thing with my bruisers Gi. just think of the Gi as a robe its the only piece that matters for your look

Later on , when you're in your late 20's , early 30's , you'll like this set up if you want to keep this look for fun ( ceremonies or whatever ), simply because you'll only have to keep the Gi and can get rid of the other pieces.

This also goes for replacing your pants/wristguards/shoulder etc .... You can wear other ( non-chainweave) items without losing your look .

yup finish the last quest, you will be happy.

at 51 you can run around with just rujarkian gi and look pretty nifty (same look as the AQ) without a huge loss of stats. I only look like a druid now if i am in a serious fight.
