<P>Monks and brawlers are the best single-mob aggro class in the game hands down. If he is using dragon stance (or the upgrade) it has a 50% chance to taunt mob with each hit, and he does more damage probly which gives him the single target aggro advanage.</P> <P>BTW, unless he is much less equiped than u, i suggest leting him tank the single mobs and you fo offensive and use your protect skills on him.</P> <P>Toodles!</P>

yeah check if he has dragon advance / storm stance up. It's a tank buff and not good for dps.

Sounds like he just needs to learn to control his agro. Get him to space out his CAs a bit more. Maybe look into upgrading some taunts/dps or something cause he's just gonna get more powerful over time and pull more agro unless either he learns to control it or you get better at holding it. IMO both are necesary. <div></div>

<DIV>I've been hearing tales of Monks who refuse to turn off Dragon Stance/Advance because not having it on means they "aren't using their character to its full abilities." Those Monks are morons, and make the rest of us look bad.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you're supposed to be tanking, and your Monk friend is on DPS duty, tell him to turn off Dragon Stance and he shouldn't be stealing agro from you very often if you're keeping up your end of the deal.</DIV>

All it does is proc hate, so it should only be used if he is tanking. <DIV> In other words, be sure he has it off <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

Also you can suggest he keeps defensive stance on even when yer tanking. It will lower his dps just a smidge more AND make him significantly less squishy when he does steal agro. NOT the combined stance, but the for real defensive.
