Path of the Monk not working?

<DIV>I have reached level 19 and have started on my path to become a Monk. The first part of the task given to me, is to kill 25 Gnolls that pose a threat in Antonica. However, when I defeat Green Gnolls that give experince, I do not get credit for the kills.</DIV> <DIV>Can anyone shed light on this? <P>From memory, the gnolls have to be blue or above. Green mobs don't present a challenge (well unless they are heroic :smileywink<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>I remember hunting the gnolls around the Oracle tower, seemed to give the updates</P>

 When I did it I was taking out greens and getting credit. The problem lies in the quest not accounting for the changes to the con system, in that mobs stay green longer. <div></div>

<DIV>Kill the gnolls out front of the Oracle tower (across the bridge).   You may have to search around for solos or grab a group.   Those will give quest credit.</DIV>

<P>I did this not so long ago and i only got credit for gnolls lvl15 and above. There are a couple of groups of 15-16 gnolls (2 down arrow heroics) near the oracle tower and a group of 5 non heroic gnolls wandering about near there. I was taking groups of 4 double down heroics and running after i killed 2 and then returning to take the 2 that were left after they reset.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>

<DIV>I did this a few days ago, there are a few down arrow/double down arrows and not sure mayber tripple down arrow blue con Sabertooth gnolls in the forest  that is between the river/waterfall and the thundering steeps griffon tower along the wall is a good pull spot if you want to be sure you wont agro anything else. There are usually 4 to a group (2 runecasters and 2 brutes) they work great and are fairly easily soloed, I always killed the runecasters first so they didnt nuke me to death.  </DIV><p>Message Edited by Zeltaria on <span class=date_text>09-24-2005</span> <span class=time_text>01:00 PM</span>

I think it was minimum of level 14 or 15 or so gnolls.. there was a definate lower level cap on what would count.. and its the same for all the fighter sub-classes that have to do gnolls.</span><div></div>
