I took a few screenshots to compare pre-revamp, post-revamp and tanking and dpsing stats. Once the initial shock woreoff, I think I'm happy. It's nice to be able to tailor our stats to fit a situation. tanking vs dpsing. Stats Pre-revamp: Stats Post-revamp (before respec): Stats in DPS stance/gear: Stats in Tanking stance/gear: I am wearing nearly all legendary Pristine augmented gear with a legendary cedar bo staff. And as you can see I also gained a lvl in between these screenshots. During the respec i chose mostly hp/str but I think I'll do a few things differently in the next respec. I'd really like to boost my avoidance a bit more. All in all I think we came out farely well after the revamp. The combat mechaniscs themselves still feel a little... clunky to me compared to the old system. For instance, a friend of mine who has never seen the game before saw me fighting and wondered why the animations were so jumbled and jerky ( i was spamming cas) I told him they took out cast times and the animations were just getting interupted. He asked why i didnt just let the animations play out, I said cuse then i wouldnt be doing as much damage. He then wondered why the animations weren't just queued up and played out independant of what i was spamming at any given moment. That way the combat would still look fluid, and we'd still be doing optimal dmg. I thought that was agreat idea.

Message Edited by x0rtrunks on 09-15-2005 01:22 PM
