I posted this in the Spells, Abilities, and Combat Arts section, but haven't gotten any feedback. Since my monk is my primary concern at the moment, I figured I'd try here. Can anyone say definitively whether Agility directly affects the chance of hitting an opponent like the tooltip in-game suggests? An increase in Agility does not currently affect the Attack rating while Strength does. Does this mean that Attack describes the ability to do damage once the opponent is hit, or does it describe the ability to actually hit the opponent? I don't mean to seem dense, but this isn't very clear to me. Attack is described as overall melee prowess, and Agility is described as to increase accuracy; yet an increase in the latter does not affect the former. Does Agility only affect avoidance, or does it have some affect on accuracy, and if so, why does the attack rating not seem to reflect that?Allotment of attribute points is somewhat more meaningful and significant with these combat changes. I'd really appreciate a better understanding of the relationship between these two attributes, if a Dev or someone more knowledgeable would care to enlighten me.Regards,Thornbrand

<P>I am almost certain that Agility has no bearing on accuracy. I believe that your to-hit chance is determined by (in no particular order):</P> <OL> <LI>The level difference between you and the mob</LI> <LI>The difference in your melee skill (crushing) vs. their defensive skills (defense, parry, etc)</LI></OL> <P>So buffing your Crush skill or debuffing the mob's defensive skills will increase your accuracy.</P>

After reading several threads from test, that's the impression I'm getting as well. I'll give some feedback in-game, as the tool-tip for Agility still mentions accuracy, which is quite confusing. I think all of the in-game attribute descriptions could be worded a bit better for clarity. Appreciate the reply bonesbro, thanks.Regards,Thornbrand

I wonder if this has anything to do with my Devistation fist missing about 40% of the time now, it use to hit 99% of the time. This is attacking from behind the mob. <div></div>
i believe this has to do with mobs being able to block n parry stuff behind them now. when i 2 box my warden, i used to use the warden to pull, with a snare and a dot. then i'd move my monk behind and drop a lunging mongoose, icy talon, silent fist, charging tiger, and flying dragon on them. now it doesn't make a whole lot of difference if i'm on front or back. my warden can't parry anymore either, so i'm having to adjust. <div></div>

So only Brawlers got the 360 evade for Players, but all the NPC's get it? now that bites big time. <div></div>
