Encounters like this really need to do a /feedback or /bug on it.  While they tried to rework a lot of encounters, some things may have been overlooked.

<DIV>So you had ONE group of level 50s trying a level 55 group x2?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm pretty sure you were supposed to get your butts handed to you.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Remember, one of the big goals of the revamp was for con info to be meaningful.  Even with 2 full groups, and orange groupx2 should be extremely difficult or nigh-impossible.</DIV>

Almeric is right...this con system IS more meaningful.  I misunderstood you to say you had to groups...sorry.  Yes...a x2 means, get 2 groups.  However, I do stand by saying if you do get 2 groups and mobs are still one-shotting, submit some feedback for it.

<DIV>Well, I look at it this way...he one-shotted a monk.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Yeah, we have the highest hitpoints now, but we still have low mitigation.  An orange-con epic mob is going to burn through our higher avoidance without any problem, which leaves our paper-thin armor to protect us.  Feedback if ya like, but I don't think that needs a bug report - I think it's working exactly as designed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That's why the Guardian could take 3 hits.  If you're going to try an orange-con epic, a Guardian will probably always be the top tank choice, but all he's doing is prolonging the pain on what is most-likely an impossible fight.  No way can healers hold up the mana output long enough to take away that mob's hitpoints.</DIV>

We tried a lvl 55x2 in Majdul - one of the faction mobs.MT group consisted of pala, me(monk obviously), warden, templar, coercer and troub. Pala went down in 2 secs. 2nd try, i tanked, we took him down to 50% when someone broke mezz, the adds went crazy on the healers and we wiped.

<DIV>lvl 55 was yellow , not orange ...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>and we where just trying it out </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>but getting 1 shotted , prevents the mob from being tanked by a monk , cu was supposed to fix that </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i did feedback it </DIV>

<DIV>Doomsquall, a level 35+++ x 2 epic in Thundering Steps hits for 1800 damage per normal swing...didn't last long enough to see what his special hits for.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P>First thing i did when combat changes went live, was go with my warden partner to have a go at grumzod the exile in zek! (41 ^^^ 2x) We had been looking for the [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] thing for months, and when my friend found it up we were happy. But man, can you say OWNED lol. I was not one shoted or anything like that, but warden regen simply could not keep up. </P> <P>Later on, we tried an epic x2 55 in maj dul (with more ppl) and it brought me to the floor in 2 hits hehe. Granted only one healer so we didnt expect to win, but we certainly didnt expect it to floor the whole grp in a couple of combat rounds!</P> <P>Having said that tho, me and the warden are duoing 54 / 55 heroic stuff in mag easily. </P>
