Just a quick question.  Not sure if it's been answered, but I did a search and turned up nothing relevant. Is DoF going to introduce class specific armor?  Say armor that is monk only and actually has *gasp* stats geared towards a monk?

i have a feeling they are going to narrow the armor down a bit.  kinda like silk/plate/chain/leather.  the way armor works now could be fair, and work just fine, but too many ppl are just out for themselves, and the loot tables get pretty narrow after you've hit the same mobs for a while.  when i first saw stuff like geb's and tobryn's eye thinger, i thought, "wow, neat, more vla".   then i realized the vla ppl are at something of a disadvantage, only being able to wear 1 armor type.  grats to the ranger decked out in fabled leather.  grats to the guardian on his shiny new fabled chain whatever.  it makes sense to me, that a toon would be able to put some lighter form of armor on, but it kinda screws some of the ppl that can only wear that lighter stuff.  i hope they put some restrictions in place.  just my opinion. <div></div>

<DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I hope the tradeskill people don't get smacked as hard as they think they are going to get.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My idea would be that while the very best equipment in the game would be crafted (not so at ALL right now), the components for the gear would be quested or grinding for.  Then you could put up (say) a package of the ingredients on the broker with an offer for the work ... like 10g</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Skillers could take the work (consignment would it be called?) and make the item.  The second the item is made the Skiller gets credit (paid) and the item goes into the mailbox of the requesting player.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Add that skillers can only do one at a time and it takes a couple of minutes to make on.  Or you could bring in WoW's function of putting 24-72 hour cooldown timers on the elite recipes. (cooldown or long make time to stiffle skill botters).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Actually WoW with it's super simple Tradeskilling has a LOT of quests that require you to go get an item made by a skiller.   What do we have?  A couple of Heritage quests that require you (yourself) to be a lvl 9 skiller.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyway....   Tradeskill gear has to be as good or better than any normal gear.  The only thing that should be better are very rare high end heoric drops are long Heritage like quest rewards.     Imbued items rock though </DIV><p>Message Edited by Dreven88 on <span class=date_text>08-31-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:38 PM</span>

the very best equipment (rubicite) IS crafted right now. The fabled crafted armor has much better mitigation than any other fabled stuff.

I wouldn't call rubitice the best armor out there.. It does have slightly higher mitigation than other Fabled gear though..  However, Pristine Forged Rubicite armor is level 40-50.  Once DoF hits any Fabled BP or Pants that is level 43-53 will have better mitigation.</span><div></div>

<P> </P> <P>The Leather lvl 30 Rare Crafted chest is worst than quite a few IMO. The legs are not bad though. Will be nice if they make them so they can be imbue'd.</P> <P> </P> <P> </P>
