<DIV>Hello fellow monks!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've been perusing the boards for some time now, maybe posted once or twice - but nothing really too in depth.  However, I wish to post a question to the more experienced of our class.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To begin, I really enjoy playing my monk toon, I've in fact played one monk to level 29 - scrapped him and rolled another due to my poor choices on skills and /cough shabby appearance :smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I feel now I'm beginning to grasp what my monk is capable of doing:  Interupts, stifles, and stuns.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There was one point I was getting in the rut of just standing in front of the mob, pressing my CA's hoping that one stifle would hit so I could continue with my small line of DPS, then pray again my stun hits, blah blah blah.  It was only recently that I read that to help in making all my rapid strikes hit, I was to stun the mob then run behind him and rapid strike it then.  GENIUS!  I was so used to just standing in front of my mob that it never occured to me that movement tactics such as this would be so useful.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I do use my interupts such as Grappling Bear, and Taunting Slap whenever I am facing a caster or see the particle effects begin - which seems to work very well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyway, I'm rambling...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My question to the more seasoned monks is this:  What is, or was - considering my level, your order of CA's based on the mob you're facing.  When would you stifle, stun or interupt and exactly what movement tactics would you or do you use.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1.  Solo mob non-caster</DIV> <DIV>2.  Solo mob caster</DIV> <DIV>3.  Linked mobs both caster and non</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>For a little background info:  I'm currently level 25, I chose Velan's Taunting Cry at level 10 and Lu Sun's Stifling Kick at level 20.  Most if not all of my skills are at least of App IV quality.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thank you for all your replies.</DIV>
