Adept 3's - which to do

<P>From the perspective of hitting 50...</P> <P>T2: Rapid Swings</P> <P>T3: I hear some people upgrade Dragon Stance</P> <P>T4: Biting Mantis, maybe Quiet Purity (not sure off-hand how much the buff goes up), otherwise Darting Sparrow or Winter Talon for while you level.</P> <P>T5: Icy Talon is a big upgrade when you hit 44.  Otherwise, as you get closer to 50, upgrade most of them <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>As for the leftover inks, I'd say... go with whatever you currently still use at level 40.  Still use Staggering Stance?  Upgrade it.  Still using Face of the Mountain?  Upgrade that too.</P> <P>Good luck</P>

<DIV>I don't know if I would go out of my way for a Rapid Swings upgrade at this point.  I do believe, after the combat upgrade, skills which have portions that can't affect Epic targets will be usable, and only those effects (stuns) that are barred will fail to go off, while the damage portions of our skills will work.</DIV>

<P>Could someone help me understand the difference between Rapid swings and Darting sparrow, and why not to use Dartin Sparrow over rapid swings?  Is it because the stun does not effect epics thus the whole ability is unusable at this time vs epics?</P> <P> </P> <P>In a normal DPS role, say in Nektropos Castle, would Darting Sparrow be worth using over rapid swings?  When I got darting sparrow I took rapid swings off my hotbar.</P>

<P>Darting Sparrow is superior in every way to Rapid Swings. Unfortunately, because Darting Sparow stuns it cannot be used on Epic encounters at all. </P> <P>And if you raid a lot, you'll see a ton of Epics... so that's why so many raiding Monks upgrade their Rapid Swings ability.. because it does work on Epic encounters.</P> <P>If you don't raid all the time there is almost no advantage to upgrading Rapid Swings. They few times you do need it, App3-4 will be more than sufficient.</P>
