Weapons of choice for 40+

Preferably all T5 rare. I recommend a cedar 2h bo and a pair of pristine tailored augmented leather cestii.  There are, at most, only several mobs who have multiple damage immunities, and they're in the new one-group raid zone Icy Dig.  Don't worry about getting a pile of weapons with each damage type - you'll find that you almost never use them.  And in a month and a half you'll be leveling past them to 60 <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

<P>I keep 2 cedar cudgels, 2 augmented cestii and 2 augmented cestus handy.  I'm still looking for that RGF... but anyway.... I came across in SP some mob (Faroth Mal) that appeared to be slash and crush resistant (not immune).  So, I slapped on some cestus for pierce damage and was tearing it up just fine.  </P> <P>If I got my info straight, aside from fabled gear, the stats and damage rating on the player made rare items seem better than most treasured items.  These also land on epic mobs, and that is something you need to start thinking about as you get closer to raiding age.  </P>

I recommend getting to level 42 asap and doing the Hierophant's Crook heritage quest - that staff rocks. :smileyhappy:
