From the second I bought the game I knew I wanted to do something different with my character. I decided I liked Erudite and desired that to be my race. I then chose Monk as my goal type. I have been hearing that in the long run your race wont play much of a difference in your character. Is this true and has anyone seen an Erudite Monk? <div></div>

Low str, low sta, low agi. Traits are not geared towards Melee. You may feel the reprocussions of choosing this class.</DIV></DIV>

So far I am level 11 and my stats seem to be where they would if I had started with a more fighter type race. Personally I dont see the few points making a difference so far... <div></div>

When your picking int, they'll be picking str ... when your picking a garbage ward, they'll be picking sta ... when they're picking resistance to crushing, you'll be picking your butt cause the erudite traits really stink. </P>

<DIV>I have an Erudite Brawler alt, but he's evil so he'll never be a monk.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The lack of physical stats does hurt, but I tell ya, the Erudite aura sight makes them AWESOME tanks/target-pickers.  You can save yourself a lot of hassle if you always know which mob is the priest before attacking.  Think about Splitpaw and all those funny names that many of us never take the time to learn the meanings behind...you don't need to learn them when you can see the mobs' auras <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<DIV>Look in your knowledge book, under the general abilities.  You should have a button there for Aura Sight or Sense or something like that, which you can drag to a toolbar and use at will.</DIV>
