<DIV>I Recently got my Monk up to level 40. It seems whenever i get fighting in a group I am always the first person to go OOP. Im wearing all Orange con armor mostly player crafted except for jewelry. Usin oak imbued batons until i find cedar and still wearing FB earring. I'm just wonder how I use up almost 1800 power before most of all my guildies are even at 50%. It seems to me if I only use Winter's Talon, Slumbering Dragon, and Darting Sparrow I don't run out so quickly... but i also take a pretty sizeable hit in the DPS department. Anyone have any suggestions... I'm really at a loss here O_o</DIV>

I used to do that all the time, too. Now I've just learned to conserve it. Yeah, you don't do as much damage as fast, but it's better than being oop and standing there the whole battle. You end up doing the same amount of damage over all (you're using the same number of attacks), but at the end of the battle when a final push of damage is needed, you have some power to do it.

Yeah that makes sense. I have grown very fond of my Manastone lol. Just seems when I play my little Gnomish Zerker i spam skills the whole fight and never run out of power. Oh well I can live with it. Saving up that vitality for the final push to level 50 and hopefully by then ill be able to afford some better armor.

We've got a few attacks that are medium damage and high power cost which you might want to consider using less often. The Flying Kick line is especially bad. <div></div>

I've recently found that - after following bonesbro and others' advice about using 2h heavy hitting weapons - that many of our CAs do equal or less damage than autoattack. So stick with stuns, stifles and high-damage arts (Icy Talon, Lunging Mongoose etc) and you'll find your power goes a lot further without losing significant DPS.

I tend to "dump power" by using lots of combat arts if there are multiple mobs. But as they start to fall, I pace more and more. Seems to work pretty well. <div></div>

<DIV>Hey Immolation!!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I didn't see this mentioned above, but make sure now that your level 40 (Tier 5) you should be using High Saturation Tier 5 drinks. You probably are, just wanted to point this out. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, like mentioned above, unless their is a major pull with adds, just use auto-attack and your stuns and lower power CA's. That should keep you at about 60% power to help you keep up. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>See ya in game!!</DIV>

<DIV>When leveling up, you can usually forgo using the low damage debuff abilities. The difference when you don't use them is higher dps (if your autoattack yields more damage than those CAs) and you probably won't notice much difference by NOT using those debuff-type CAs.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I always recommend using stuns though. And you have to be careful w/ the biting mantis/diving phoenix type abilities. Those refresh every 10s and are capable of draining you fast.</DIV>

<DIV>After a week of trying what you guys said. aside from getting a 2h weapon so far <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> my power is lasting much longer =D. The problems I have atm are i just spent almost 1.5pp upgrading armor and weapons. I still need another cedar for a 2h weapon. I have no money left and cant even begin to think about buying food or drink. What little money I have coming in keeps going to repair armor lol. (Love CH raids where the MT won't taunt and you end up the main tank with common crafted armor =D!) Overall though my SK friend is running out of power faster than me finally! Thanks a ton guys =D</DIV>
