<DIV>Anyone have the stats (or a place I can get the stats) on a fir staff?  I have six rare pelts and 1 rare wood and I'm trying to decide whether to sell the fir and get a pair of wraps or get a staff made from the fir.  I'm currently using the scorched wooden staff which I'm happy with.  It looks like I could sell the fir for about 20g on my server, so would I be better off getting the gold and doing something better?  I will have a nearly full set of rare armor  (yes, I know I could get the AQ armor, but this is funner in a sick and demented kind of way <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />) in a week or so, just looking to get the uberest (is that a word?) weapon I can as well.  I'm happy with the slower attack rate of a 2h weapon vs. DW, but if the fir staff isn't that much better than what I'm using, I think I could use the gold to upgrade jewelry in a few levels.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That was a very long winded way of asking for the stats on some 2h fir weapons, but there you have it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

If I were you I'd have an imbued fir baton made, and get a rare imbued cestii or cestus(not much difference) with one of the pelts. I would do the Armour Quests and use that armour, otherwise you are wasting money. The AQ armour looks very cool(wait till you get the Gi). This will allow you to make money from the other rare pelts you have left. <div></div>

<P>I think I'll look into doing that.  I'm a tailor, so crafting the armor won't cost me much.  True, I could make nearly a plat selling the pelts, but I'd rather use them to make something for myself.  Stupid to some people, but I like the idea of wearing stuff I made myself with components I gathered myself.  Probably make and imbue the leggings and chest piece, and maybe a satchel too.  Use one to get a cestii (or cestus? I'm still confused about those), and then sell the other 2.  I usually use a 2H weapon because of the info in the FAQ, but maybe I'll try DW for awhile.</P> <DIV>Thanks.</DIV>

I'd recommend a 2h weapon, if for no other reason than because you'll only need to get one Legendary weapon crafted instead of two.

I had original though of getting one of the fir staves, but I haven't been able to find stats on any of them yet.

<DIV>Well, I wouldn't be passing on it.  I'm still going to do the AQ's.  I'll wear what pieces I want.  What I'll be getting however is the best armor I can wear at lvl 20.  I could sell the pelts, sure.  But I don't really care about the money because I already have a several plat, which is more than enough at this stage.  This isn't my first or only toon.  It's a new main, kinda. <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>
