Hey all. I just hit level 30 and need to make my training choice. I'm looking for some insight on what to pick, for example, has anybody made a level 30 training choice that they regret or that they really like? I mostly duo with a mystic, so Lu'Sun's Healing touch doesn't seem that important (I rarely use Mend). On the other hand, I usually have to work pretty hard to keep aggro when facing groups so Togahn's Infuriating Poke looks good. Is this an ability that Monks can continue to use at higher levels or do we get a replacement taunt that is better soon? (I'm a little worried because it replaces Taunting Slap, which is blue to me right now, so I hope the training ability isn't blue also). I appreciate any feedback anybody has. Thanks. <div></div>

<DIV>Lu'Sun's is kinda borked right now. It doesn't remove detrimental poison/disease effects, it removes beneficial ones (defiler wards, anyone?).</DIV>

<DIV>Gorans has a Slow effect on it. I'm still using it at level 48. Didn't even bother with Diving Dragon you get a couple levels later. That skill isn't as great, and Adept 1 only does about 40 points more than Gorans. 40 points isn't worth it. Goran's all the way.</DIV>

<DIV>I'm rather fond of So Li's, personally. Priest and Mage mobs fear monks already - but adding one more interrupt into the mix doesn't hurt <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I had Goran's for a while, but I just didn't feel like the 10% slow was helping me too much. I parry most blows, but it's the big special attacks and nukes that will do me in. The level 20 stifle helps a lot more than a 10% slow will <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

<P>Short term: Togahn's is very useful. Monk taunts, in my opinion, are the worst of figher archetype. Togahn's is like a mini AOE taunt that refreshes every 8 seconds. </P> <P>Long term: Don't get Togahn's since you get other taunts that are better, even though they are not "mini AOE." </P>

I actually still use Togahn's when I tank a pair of ^ mobs. It was quite valuable leveling in Permafrost.
