I can't speak about Nightbloods, but I have seen Monk Fire Elementals in that Gnoll Cave instance in TS. It kind of freaked me out at first, but then I was like "Wow! A monk-type mob!" It was the first one I had ever encountered up till that point.

There's some monk mobs in nek castle too as I recall - something Desciples, or some such? <div></div>

<DIV>Think it was a monk, not sure, but tanked a lvl 38^^ boar in RE today that brought the hurt with fierce strikes, flying kicks and sh*t... lvl 35 bruiser here, and of course the [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] thing avoided most of my my eyegouge/stifle/stun/debuff moves while i was tanking it.. that'll wake ya up in the mornin'.. only bummer was no monkish animations... just noticed i was takin some hard hits and the [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] thing was avoidin like mad</DIV>

Just wait for DoF, I just got done running around the expansion a bit and in Pillar of Flames there are some rather intimidating looking lvl 59 heroic monk mobs <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

And has anyone re-rediscovered Takish-Hiz?  One of my favorite LDoN themes in EQ1, even if my success rate there sucked.
