Not sure if this is actually going to be introduced, but this is what I unfortunately just read on the Test Updates for this live update coming in"Damage- Melee damage bonuses are now calculated based on the attacker's strength versus the defender's agility."Does this mean that monks, who previously were mainly concentrating in agility, now have the disadvantage over Bruisers, who have always been interested in STR?For example, my STR @ level 39 is 88, while my AGI is 166... Does this mean that my damage output is about to get absolutely nerfed and Zerkers with high STR will now start schooling us??
Message Edited by PsyKrow on 05-25-2005 04:30 PM

Eh? What thread did you get this from? That looks like a note from the Big Combat Revision that they're working on, not from LU9. I just scanned the TU9a and TU9b notes and didn't find it.FWIW, SOE is planning on implementing this with their Big Combat Revision but that's not going live yet.
That damage thing will work both ways. If you concentrated more on AGI than STR you should have an advantage when being attacked. I could care less about my damage output really, just as long as I can still tank.
