Staggering Stance + Phin's Open Palm Technique - bug or not-stackable?

Hi all!Staggering Stance at adept 1 gives my +12 to agi. Phin's also has a +12 bonus to agi. When I use both, shouldn't I get a +24 boost to my agility? Right now I get the first +12 (no matter which skill I use first) but then the second does not give me an increase.Is that a bug or is there a cap on self-buffing your own stats?Sorry, I'm sure this is a repeat but I couldn't find an answer using the search tool.Thanks in advance! <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

It is my understanding that stacking takes the better value of the two powers.  I noticed this when I had Wisdom of Zephyl & Quiet Purity up at the same time since they are in the same line.

I don't have Phin's as of yet - so I don't know the answer to this question...but....the Staggering Stance line requires another party member for you to cast it on.  Can you cast Phin's when you're by yourself?  If so, perhaps it's a "solo" way to get that agi boost?
