First Adept 3, input wanted!

ok, at 43 I finally mined a ruby (go me!) This will make my first Adept 3 .. well.. ever. The question is..what to make it into? I have an guildy alchemist who will basically make it for free so that's not a factor.. So it boils down to this: 1) Make it now into one of my current skills at 40+ 2) Or Hold onto it and make it into a diffrent 40+ skill later on. I'm not sure which I want to do. I could go ahead and make it into Adept 3 Stop heart, which is what I'm leaning towards atm. Not flashy, but very useful.. But any input would be great <div></div>

Spider Stance is not worth an upgrade.  Only the haste increases, and the haste doesn't stack with Everburning.  Likewise, there's a bug report in the bug thread which describes how Heal doesn't seem to increase in healing even when upgraded. <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Personally, I haven't been very impressed with many of the fighter upgrades, and I haven't spent the money to upgrade any of my adept1s to adept3s yet.  I would have done Silent Fist, except the other Monk in my guild upgraded his.  Now when I try to use mine and the mob is still stifled, I get a "would not take effect" message so it's trivial to rotate stifles on epic mobs.  : )</DIV>

The only 2 I have invested in so far are Everburning Fire and Lunging Mongoose. I, like the other posters, am not sure where to look next. The benefits so rarely outweigh the expense. Easier to sell rare gems and look for Fabled items on broker it feels like.Durama50 MonkPerma

Keep your stuff at Adept 1 trust me the increase in most of the spells are not worth the paper that they are scribed on with the exception of taunts and even those are not that great but that is my opinion. <div></div>I went in this order:  Everburning Fire, Silent Fist, Stop Heart, Icy Talon.  The reasonining behind silent fist is not that the stifle increases (it dosen't) but rather that we get few skills that have melee damage (not crushing, it does the damage type of your weapon) so I wanted it upgraded for the 5 or 6 raid mobs that are immune to crushing.
