Level 20 Monk needs advice.

Hello all I have completed my class quest and am about to ding 20. I have managed to save some coin as to upgrade all my armour and jewellry hopefully. I was wondering if someone could advice on what would be the best gear for my level, to see me through to 30 at least. I am comtemplating doing the armour quest as this would free up funds for potentially a pair of steel maces and also give good xp and may also be interesting to do, but is the armour quest gear good enough? Is there any questable jewellry or weapons for my level that are particularly good? Any comments appreciated. <div></div>

Do the armor quest, even if it is just for the look of it. The stats are also quite good, no need to waste money there.

Aye, the armor quest gear will take you to 30 just fine.  As far as jewelry, just browse the broker looking for cheap drops or player crafted stuff.  You'll be outgrowing it soon enough so no need to dump your life savings into it <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

<DIV>Rare crafted gear are both strong and last fully from 20-30.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>At least on my server, Medium Pelts aren't very expensive and you can set yourself up with some nice Cestii or Fistwraps.  If money is more of an issue, some Fir can make you a good staff.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Imbuing them is a nice kick too.</DIV>

Yes I think fistwraps sound tempting, I know rare metal like steel and blackened iron is expensive but didn't realise pelts for rare weapons were cheaper, never looked. At the moment I have 2 imbued blackened ironed maces which are wicked mainly due to the fact that the gleaming strike seems to go off so often! imbued rare fistwraps sound ideal.
