<DIV>Can sony put a MOTD that says "Monks <EM>are</EM> a member of the fighter class."</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>im begging.. please..  its funny at first, and now its just annoying.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>im invited to group more often for evac and rez than i am to tank or even dps.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>today i joined a group -- 36 templar, 31 warlock, 33 dirge, 32 guardian, 31 zerker, me(34 monk)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i join.. templar says "zerker MT"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>guardian sys "uhh im highest tank here.. im tank"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>templar says "oh sorry"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><right here i should have left..></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>me "actually im the highest tank, and i have 400 more HP, 50 more AC, and 30% more avoidance.. so i am the tank."</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>templar "haha noob i have more armor than you.. you dont tank."</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>warlock/dirge/zerker "monks are tanks.. let him tank"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>so they <EM><U><STRONG>let</STRONG> </U></EM>me tank.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>were in RE, and on the way into the grouped zones the templar was constantly pulling.. i told him once and left it at that.  he continued to do so, which was annoying but it was solo mobs so no biggy.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>we get to the eyes (36-39 ^^) and i pull, followed by him recasting all his group buffs and healing himself.  he then says "look noob i can pull aggro off you and tank better" (as he doesnt heal me at all..)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>he gets into red.. 1 dies.  the add he picked up kills him, i get aggro next.. i get into red and Compress, kill the add barely.  i rez him (feather) and he goes straight for 2 more RED CON mobs, and dirge evacs.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>he then tells me what a [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot]ty tank i am, and the guardian says that i am a noob.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>whats sad about all this?  IT HAPPENS TO MONKS EVERY FREAKIN DAY!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>btw, did we get a damage boost secretly?  heres the parser results from 1/2 hour long group (kinda wierd)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>34 monk (me): 31747dmg</DIV> <DIV>31 warlock: 22438dmg</DIV> <DIV>32 guardian: 12153</DIV> <DIV>31 zerker: 12149</DIV> <DIV>33 dirge: 6169</DIV> <DIV>36 templar: 4032</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>i used to have warlocks outdamage me no problem, and zerkers that werent tanking would usually out damage me or stay real close..</DIV>

<P>This is just a case of having to [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] slap your healer.. ;o</P> <P>I have actually had something a bit gayed happen to me.. dealing with rogues being chosen to tank and such.. I have aldo had a horrible guardian a few levels below me be chosen tank.. When they left I tanked, and was doing great.. then we get a guardian about the same level as the other one and they make him mt.. its just silly..
