I cant hit it!

First off let me tell you what weapons I use, I have a set of prstine imbued briarwood batons, and a prstine imbued briarwood bo staff, Also I have a set of batons you can select as a alternate quest reward instead of getting Ghoulbane.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now my problem, I cant seem to hit that Varsoon guy, I went through all these weapons and nothing worked, So I felt bad that all I could do was stand there and not help any, and I want to avoid this problem in the future.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I've noticed that there are a few threads dealing with this issue but they only relate to monks who are 40+, I'm 34 and need take care of this asap, I'm afraid I'll see more of this as I level up.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for any advice your able to give.</DIV>

<P>Hi Chaos, I had the same problem with a few mobs including some eyes in Varsoons and named dragon in Obelisk in Zek.</P> <P>I was told that you need to have a weapon that is Treasured / Legendary and also has capital letters in its name. I bought a Pine Timber 2 hander that evening and much to my joy, I could hit the mobs that I previously couldn't. The staff only cost me 10g, but it was well worth it. </P> <P>On a side note, I've finished the Crook quest so I've swapped out my Pine Timber for it. </P>

he is ammune to pierce and some player made weapons, not sure if legendry player made weapons will work as weh ni fought him no one in group had any

<P>I had no problems with a pair of imbued cedarwood quarterstaffs.</P>

the dragon in obelisk is only hittable by piercing weapons I believe. <div></div>

You need to have Legendary or better weapons. If you look at your Pristine Imbued Briarwood Fighting batons you will notice that they say HANDCRAFTED Get some Pristine Imbued Oak Fighting batons and you will be able to hit him. <div></div>

<P>They are saying your weapons = crap .....</P> <P>Lol....</P> <P>Yeah, the 'rarity' label of your items mean more than you think.</P>

<DIV>Thanks for all your advice, problem was solved once I hit 35 and could use feysteel cestii, also regular oakwood batons worked as well, still saving up for better weapons now.</DIV>
