This isn't a "stacking problem", as far as I've been able to ascertain - this is intended behaviour. The pattern is concise and clear, the one with the highest value prevails. It's my opinion that a "stacking problem" would constitute them all actually stacking. Reflect back to EQ1, if you had a +10STR buff, and someone hit you with a +20STR buff, the 10 would vanish, and the 20 would take it's place.

So basically this means Dragon Stance is worthless as Wisdom of Z and Quiet Purity give nearly as much skill increase without any of the lost mitigation.

its basically 1 or the other or the other. QP app1 may not be much. Adept 1 may be 7-8.

I never use Dragon Stance anyway. Even if I am not tanking, there are times where I will need to help the tank out. If I have DS on, I get pummeled!!!

my point is that for all the lost mitigation, Dragon Stance should stack with the others. my Quiet Purity now is +8 skill boost to Dragon Stance's +10. That +2 difference is not worth the loss of mitigation on Dragon Stance.

Using Dragon Stance=*$%#&! beating. why take the beating for a lousy +2 skill boost???

I could understand Wisdom of Z and Quiet Purity not stacking, since it is the same line. But since you can have them both on at the same time, they should stack. Otherwise, they should overwrite each other.

at the minimum, Dragon Stance should stack with Wisdom of Z/Quiet Purity

I'd suggest bugging it, perhaps they will fix it provided it's a bug.

I have no problems with things no stacking, my only problem is that i wish things that didnt stack would over-writes others. If i use one ability, then another, and the second ability over-writes the first. I know that only one counts and i can clear it from my already crowned ability bar. On the other hand i'm likely buffing myself with abilities that don't stack, and instead just suck my power and time. I just wish it was obvious one way or the other because as it is its confusing to me. Some buffs that use the same timer stack (or are different things) some that don't, don't stack. Is there a guide out there as to what replaces what and what stacks and what doesnt? I think i may be using both the weaker, and advanced versions of the same 'tree' so to speak, and if they don't stack i'm just wasting my time.
