<DIV>Hi folks, </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It's getting towards that time where I need to be looking at Armor upgrades for myself again, currently wearing several Emerald Hide Pieces from the Zek Quests but when I hit 40 they go even and blue at 41 so I want to start looking for the next stage in my armor. Anyone have any particular advice on what I should be looking for in the low 40's?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Rahkar Shirotaka</DIV> <DIV>39.96 Monk</DIV> <DIV><Champions of Twilight></DIV> <DIV>Befallen</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Armor choices from best to worst.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-pristine tailored augmented if you are rich. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-orclord stalking is affordable and usable at level 39 and much much cheaper than augmented. even cons at level 45.  it is better than strengthened till level 50.  check broker often and/or do quest in Deathfist Citadel.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-pristine tailored strengthened if you are poor. usable at level 40 i believe and even cons at level 50.</DIV>

<DIV>The thicket woven armor is the best looking stuff I have seen yet IMHO, but it is not that great in some other aspects.  A full set will give you awesome magic and mental resistance (I am at roughly 2000 magic resistance unbuffed),but that is all it gives, leaving you a little low in other areas like poison, cold, etc.  Also, the midigation on all the pieces is lower than that of regular T4 crafted stuff, so my midigation actually went down when I switched to it at lvl 38.  That said, almost all the stat buffs are str, agi, or sta, so at lvl 38, I have agi = 130 and str = 120 unbuffed.  No "wasted" +int or +wis.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>... ... ... and did I mention it looks great! :smileyhappy:</DIV>

<P>Thicket armor = Marching Band Suit (from any parade you see on TV) in green and black.  I guess that is a good look if you like it!   :smileyvery-happy:</P> <P>The Pristine Tailored Augmented and Imbued Augmented have a pretty nice look too, black leather with grey/silver inlay.  I just upgraded to a full suit of this last night (43).  </P>
