You can join a channel on any server that is player made.  A bunch of my old guildies from EQ and I have a channel, as well as a couple other channels I join on other servers.  1 person just makes a channel on say Befallen called Allmonks.  Then anyone can join that channel by putting in Befallen.Allmonks in the join/create part of chat options, or typing /join befallen.allmonks.  Tested the /join server.qeynos_monk and just gives you don't have permission message.

Notice to all Monks who use this channel, after todays update, you'll have to rejoin the channel, seems the chat windows have been reset, (in my case this happened)

Tarvos, this channel is accessible from any and every server; its a cross-server chat channel that exists for all monks on all servers to chat (and we even tolerate Bruisers =D). Just type join Crushbone.Allmonks and you'll be in. To speak in the chat use /# <message> except you have to put in the correct number in the place of /#. When you join the chat you'll see a message that say "You have joined 'crushbone.Allmonks' (#) and thats the number you use <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> There are non-cross-server monk channels on every server as well. These are listed as "Qeynos_Monk" in the "World Channels" under Chat Options when you right-click a chat window. Unfortunately, since class channels are not automatically joined once a character becomes a new class, most people don't know they exists. <div></div>
