<DIV>I've been using my imbued batons for awhile now and have noticed that you don't double the proc rate, but in fact get 2 5% chances to proc on any hit.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>During my use of these weapons I have seen 2 procs happen at the same time on 1 ranged hit. </DIV>
<P>Having two 5% chances is statistically the same chance as have one 10% chance.</P> <P>But yes, I take your point - you don't double the proc rate on each weapon, rather you have twice as many procs because you are using twice as many weapons </P>

<DIV>I also use two imbued fighting batons and I believe that it also has a chance to proc when you use a combat art. I'm not positive but once when using Sparking Cobra I could have sworn that the proc went off and hit several of the mobs in the group I was fighting. Anyone else notice this as well?</DIV>

<P>Don't forget, the description for procs is misleading. The actual proc rate is not what is listed, but rather the result of the formula (Weapon delay / 3.0 delay)* listed proc rate. For example, one of my weapons is a Cudgel of Reflection. It has a 1.7 delay and lists a 5% proc rate. So, the actual proc rate is (1.7 / 3.0)*0.05 = 0.028...or an actual proc rate of 2.8%. </P> <P>edit: typo</P> <p>Message Edited by Velorek on <span class=date_text>04-15-2005</span> <span class=time_text>05:19 PM</span>

Combat arts do produce a chance to proc as well. You will see this occassionally when pulling with our ranged attack.

<P>On a related note, what class casts this buff?</P> <P><IMG src="http://216.254.21.115/besthitever.jpg"></P> <P>That was a good swing.</P>

<DIV>Will have to disagree, after finally equipping my cestii, I went on a proc rampage. Definitely worth dual wielding, imho.</DIV>
<DIV>Agonizing Strike is a skill casted by assasins.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>They use a "Mark of the Assasin" on the mob as a debuff. Instead of traditional procs where it gives you a chance to proc on whoever you attack, this MoTA causes all hits on the mob to have a chance to proc a piercing DD of 250-400dmg.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It's slightly bugged as i hear it saps the assasin's mana each time the proc fires off.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

You shouldn't be able to proc with a weapon that didn't hit; i.e. if I was wielding 1 non-proc weapon and one weapon with a proc, I should never see the proc go off on a successful hit of the non-proc weapon. Doing so artificially inflates the proc rate of the weapon.
