Wind walk is app 4, grey, and grants 'level 34 invisibility' to me at level 41.

This is enough for me to use it with blue con or below mobs. I am wondering what invisibility level the grey/maxed out adept 1, adept 3, and master versions grant? If it is a 3 or 4 level bump going from app 4 to ad 3, i think it is worth it to plunk down for a jasper...

Is there anyone out there that has one of the adpets or a master and is able to share their invis level?

Thanks!

At level 50, the description for Wind Walk (Adept 1) says it grants level 35 invisibility. I suggest taking it with a grain of salt.

At 43 the adept 1 version is also level 35 invis for me, and works on mobs 1 level below me still. Anything 43+ still sees through. I can't verify but have heard adept 3 and master 1 are bugged and are not any better than the adept 1 version.

Message Edited by Arrowheart on 04-12-2005 08:51 PM

Actually, I think the description is incorrect for this spell especially the master. On Mistmoore, a guildie of mine was the first to discover the master lvl of this spell and gracious enough to give it to me. At 41, it grants lvl 37 invisability, which is false. I've run all through ferrott on the way to CT, past one of the named boucners all the way into CT past the lvl 44 or 47^ or ^^ boucers and no problems. In side of CT, the only mob that could see me was Venekor which of course is the named dragon which cons lvl 53^^^x2 or 4 if I recall. So the master know works past lvl 37, just think the description is a mistype.

at level 35, my wind walk (adept 1) lets me skate past level 40 mobs.. It has been going up, back when I was around 33, a level 40 would see through it..
the description on the skill is not correct. check it against actual mobs at various levels.

Message Edited by Neimhidh on 04-13-2005 11:43 AM

Ok, in order to test this, I just went out and purchased a Rough Jasper and had an Adept 3 of WW made. Afterwards, I ran around and made some tests. For reference purposes, I am level 50 and the description for Adept 3 level says that it grants level 35 invisibility, just as the Adept 1 version does.

I quickly ran to EF and tried it out on the level 44 ice frights and glacial constructs in the tunnel near the MM entrance. Both still saw through it at Adept 3 skill. I was going to keep testing but, unfortunately, everything 43 or lower greys out to you at 50 so I can't test it out on anything lower without grouping with some lower level folks, which weren't available to me at the time I did this.

Anyway, If I get more info on this, I'll update the post.

how can you tell when they're grey anyway

That's why I went to the tunnel in EF because I knew that was the lowest level mobs that were still at least green to me. Anything 43 or lower cons grey to a 50 though and therefore can't be tested this way. The only way to do it is to group with some lower level players, effectively bringing the average level of the group down a bit and making those 43 mobs green now. Then it would be possible to run the test further down the chain depending on the levels you group with.

Yes, Thank you Velorek !!

I wish you had better news. I was hoping that Adept 3 was actually worth something.

I wonder if SOE has any plans to get this working up to Lv 50 or is it is "working as intended". :smileysad:

Message Edited by Nerill on 04-14-2005 12:25 AM
