In-game skills VS. Listed skills?

<DIV>Is there a difference in the skills listed in the handbook, the guidebooks, and on most websites to the ones you actually get in-game?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have a monk that just dinged 25 and didn't get <FONT color=#ff0000>Grappling Bear</FONT> part of the way through 24 like the information lead me to believe.  The skill for 25 was also different than was listed.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone else noticed a change in skills from the listed version released a while back?  Please respond below.  I am basically getting a bunch of skills that increase my HATE, and right now with all the agro I build from pounding on things it is hard for me not to get the attention of mobs.  This is a problem when I just have to sit back and click on a couple basic attacks while not the MT of a group.</DIV>

Check your combat skills.  I know when I received Grappling Bear I never received the usual "Ding", and flying arrows showing it on my combat bar.  I had to go specifically looking for it before I finally found it. <div></div>

<P>Look at the skill required on a grappling bear adept/app.  Then divide the minimum number by 5 to find out when you get it.  Normally at ding, and then at 60% into level, although there are some descrepancies.</P> <P>Also, like was said, if your hotbar is full it goes straight to your knowledge book.</P>
