I'm not so much worried about the quality of the dolls picked, but rather the stat/effect combo you decided to go with. I'm getting ready to make the purchase for myself and my wife (fury) and was thinking on which combo's would work best for us.

I got the ruckas ones, because they add +10 and are way cheaper, at least on Guk.

I got one stamina and one strength.

Had I known at the time there were lower tier ones I wouldnt have paid out the rear for the +12 versions..... I think I saw +10 versions for like 40g a few days after I bought the +12s

Though a bruiser, I'll contruibute. AGI, STR here. My theory is that if you keep these two stats as high as possible, you'll be doing okay.

Keep in mind when picking your hex doll that the debuffs associated with them will not land if you go with a hex doll much lower than the mob.

I have 2 T4 agility hex dolls (11agi each 25% snare) and 1 T4 str hex doll ( 11str and str debuff). The debuffs are really only useful to monk in a few situations:

With no competition for pulls, you can pull with the snare doll, and while running back, debuff with the str doll.

You can also switch out the agi/str ones depending on if you are tanking or going dps.

As I just posted on another thread, you can use the snare doll to save your skin if you get aggro and are afraid to FD/PD and possibly suffer a horrible death. In the case that the path ahead of you is clear and you have a mob on you, snare the mob and then /yell it. You will run at normal speed (or sow or Jboots) while the mob is now 25% slower and can't catch up.

I keep the 2 agi dolls handy. +22 agi works out to be about 1.2% avoidance and I seem to land a very high % of attacks with my agility as well.

Definately go +10 if you value your cash

Yeah the spell values are horrid unfortunately. I went with a T3 doll that had a spell with the same value as the T4 doll (7-9% attack speed debuff). First mob I went and tried it on was lvl 30, and it resisted it 6 times in a row. I've never once seen the attack speed debuff land at this point. Kinda unfortunate that there seems to be a limit as to what spell will land on a creature.

Ha Ha weird, I landed both of mine numerous times on lvl 44++ golems duo'ing with a guardian friend of mine.

But to me the price/performance ratio is screwed after t3.

I picked up the dandelion fiber for 10g each, and then the sparking extract for 2.5g each and the tailor charged 80s per combine but I paid him 1g per, so 27.5g for both.

OTOH T5 rare go for 95g+ already made, or about that if not more if you buy the rares.

So yeah, I just don't see 200% more cost for two points.

I am a 37 Monk, my base agil is about 132 and my str and sta was rather low. I ended up getting a +12sta and +12str, now i have 92str and 80sta. Whats funny is that with patch 6 I am not supposed to be able to equip these until level 40, so looks like I have to wait to use them again.
